I blocked someone today, and it wasn't a decision I made lightly. I noticed a pattern where situations were often framed in a way that made them seem like the victim, even when nothing was actually wrong. For my own mental well-being, I decided it was healthier to step away.
I've had experiences with friendships like this in real life, and they left a lasting impact on me. Because of that, I'm careful about protecting my peace and avoiding situations that feel emotionally manipulative or triggering.
I value genuine, honest people. I don't like being put in situations where someone creates a narrative that could make others see me as the bad person when that isn't the reality. It's something that genuinely scares me, especially online, where people often don't know the full story.
Blocking someone isn't always about hate or anger. Sometimes it's simply about protecting your mental health and choosing peace.

@faithjessica8 Sometimes ppl behave unreasonably and the best thing to do is back away, i don't blame you-it was an act of helping yourself so steeping away from situations like that isn't wrong it's being mature.

@faithjessica8 Good job for realizing that that relationship wouldn’t be good for you in the long run. I hope you’re okay. Blocking to protect your mental health is always a good choice, even if it might make you feel bad at first.
