I've been writing ever since I sold my parents fictional stories at age 6, for a dollar, hand illustrated (with sloppy crayon) and tied with yarn by tiny, nail-bitten fingers. Sometimes I still sell new releases for a dollar, to thank my readers for sticking with me. Rebel of Optimism, that's me. Believe me, it was a rough road to lose my jaded exterior.

Today I write modern-day love stories that lift the heart, melt it, set it back down better than it was, and maybe even crack it up a little. And yes, there's gotta be steam.
