"Daniel, I'm gonna go talk to Em!'"
Squeezing his hand, I walked away smiling.
I walked up to Emily. She was the head of the E-Girls, and I was second in command, if you can call it that. Side-hugging her, "You ready, Mittens? Because it's your time to shine!" Next thing I knew they all were chanting my nickname, 'Mittens'.
"All right Dancers! Get serious, this is A-Troupe auditions." Kate said, Daniel and Emily on each side of me. We all started stretching.
"I am auditioning for A-Troupe, but there are others. J-Troupe, for Juniors, and B-Troupe, for Beginners. A-Troupe stands for Advanced!! And I can say, Me, Daniel, and Em, we are the most advanced! Only 11 make it, and we have those spots arranged. Steph, Em, Daniel, and Me are on it. And Giselle too!" I said very sassily.
I was doing a bit of Acro, making sure I could do all my best tricks. My Aerial was the most impressive, Miss Kate said she has never seen a dancer so good at one. I knew I had to make it shine!
