@MattKennedy721 And see, this is why we need the community feature back for Wattpad. I wouldn't receive recommendations like such with just scrolling through hundreds of fanfictions and supernatural romances. I know there's a "market" on here for such, but it's still aggravating to see original work fall so far behind them.

@MattKennedy721 Howard and H.P. Lovecraft (the father of the horror genre) were good friends and shared ideas. I just read Howard's The Tower of the Elephant last night and was amazed again at his ability to set a scene.

@MattKennedy721 I'll have to look him up. Stephen King was my original inspiration for creating an elaborate story from a simple idea, paired with descriptive writing.
