          It's been a few days since I last updated anything, and I'm really sorry about that. A lot has happened lately, and I just needed some time to process everything.
          
          I rescued a tiny fifteen day old kitten recently, but sadly, she passed away from anemia. It had been a long time since I stopped fostering, so losing her really affected me and left me thinking about life for a while.
          
          At the same time, I'm also opening a store and trying to figure out a better direction for myself now that university has ended. So between setting up the store, shopping, planning everything, and dealing with the loss, things have been a little overwhelming.
          
          A couple of days ago, though, I finally decided to give myself a proper day to just breathe and do nothing. I've been feeling a little better since then, so I'm going to slowly get back into posting.
          
          For now, I'll be posting up to Chapter 22 of A Home Called Us. 
          
          I haven't written any more chapters for The Mommy Contract yet, so please bear with me on that one.
          
          I also might change the new short story from angst to another genre. Maybe. I don't know yet. I'm still figuring it out.
          
          But yeah, please try to go with my flow for now. I'll update whenever I can, and I promise I haven't forgotten about you guys or the stories. ❤️
