Hi, I originally chose to write this story based off of the crush I had on Will when I first started watching the early season/s of the show. I have actually contemplated whether or not I should continue to have Will and the reader date or breakup in season four and then the reader falls for Max because I personally do think that Will is queer, whether he’s gay or not. He could also be bisexual, he could be pansexual, we don’t know because the writers haven’t told us, it’s only headcanon and not officially confirmed in the show. If it was a character like Robin, who is confirmed to like women, that I was straight-washing, that would be a problem. I myself am queer. But you need to remember that Will Byers is a fictional character. Stranger Things is a fictional tv show and the book you’re commenting on/about, is fan fiction and is also not real. It is also my fanfiction and I’ll write what I want to, because he’s not real. And if you still have a problem then you can dm me or just, don’t read it.
