"It's Not About Boxing Anymore" Summary
Jaxon Garner is champion boxer. Boxing is his life. His manager, who is also his father, isn't quite cutting it anymore. He's not the kind of manager he needs to step up his game. He needs a professional. Through his dad's connections, he finds one of the best managers in the country, Kyle Stevens. Jaxon sees something he likes in Kyle's twenty-three year old daughter, Kassidi. Kassidi thinks that boxing is ridiculous and doesn't want to take any part in it. Using the smooth talk he learned from his older brother and his natural charisma, he tries to win over Kassidi's heart. Will Kassidi come between him and boxing or will boxing come between him and Kassidi? Not only that, but Kyle doesn't approve of Jaxon's growing relationship with his daughter. He doesn't think Kassidi should get wrapped up in the boxing world. He's tried his entire life to keep her as far away from it as possible. Which will mean more to Jaxon? Boxing? Kassidi? Or what Kassidi's father thinks?
