Don't allow people to have expectations of you. That way they won't be disappointed when you don't live up to their expectations. Be wild and unpredictable, don't give them a chance to create any expectations~ advice from me - a person who has allowed plp to create expectations of me, only for me to thoroughly disappoint them.
