          Hello everyone! ❤️
          
          It has been a little while since my last update, but I am finally back to writing again!
          
          To make up for the wait, four new chapters are being released today, so there is plenty to catch up on. Thank you to everyone who has continued reading, commenting, or simply waiting patiently while I took some time away from writing.
          
          Going forward, I’m also going to be changing how I manage my stories. Rather than trying to work on several of them at the same time, I’ll be focusing on one story each week. That means whichever story has my attention that week will receive the bulk of my writing time and updates before I rotate onto another.
          
          Hopefully this will let me give each story the attention it deserves without constantly jumping between completely different worlds and characters—and should make updates a little more consistent too!
          
          For now, though, we are returning to Where Death Sleeps Softly with four new chapters.
          
          There are lessons, old histories, a few new mysteries beginning to surface... and another glimpse into one of Amara’s previous lives.

August Update!
          Thank you for supporting me and my work. Lately it has been a struggle to write, thus I have had to take a break for mental health.
          I genuinely do want to continue these stories to their ends, so once I am in the right headspace I will shall try my best to post.

The Weight of Blood Update!
          
          TWO New chapters delving into some philosophical thoughts. 
          The story is progressing as young Kael spends time in the town. I wonder what lies in store for the young boy and his master.

A little author's note before you read. 
          
          Firstly, thank you all so much for sticking with *Where Death Sleeps Softly*. Chapters 21 and 22 took the story somewhere I wasn't expecting when I first began writing this novel, but they became some of the most personal chapters I've written. I hope they gave a little more heart to Amara's journey and helped show why some memories are impossible to leave behind.
          
          I'd absolutely love to hear what you thought of them, so if you have a moment after reading, please leave a comment! I read every single one, and your thoughts genuinely mean a lot to me.
          
          And lastly... don't close Chapter 23 too quickly. There's a little something waiting for you at the end.
