Am I abandoning Wattpad?

Essentially, yes. I was really obsessed with it a couple of years ago, and recently I’ve sort of dipped my feet back into the waters, but I’m just not as into it anymore. I’ll keep the app and continue writing poems or short stories every now and then, but I don’t think I’ll be writing whole novels on here. I want to publish my works for real sometime down the line, and it’ll be harder to do that on here.

I’ll pop in from time to time to catch up with friends and maybe write a little something, but I want to focus my writing attention on rewriting and editing “Fluttering Dreams” for now, and other novels later on.

So I guess I’m not “abandoning” Wattpad, but I’m definitely not going to be very active on it. I don’t even read the stories in my library anymore. That’s the sad part, because there are some really great ones in there, but I’m not a big fan of reading digital books.

Thanks for reading my stuff! May God bless your own writing efforts!

Juggling story ideas is HARD. On the bright side, I’ve dived back into “Fluttering Dreams”! I hope I can work on that and “Wake the Beast” at the same time.

I currently have 38 unread stories in my Wattpad library. Let’s hope I read them soon...

On another note, let’s also hope I can get back into writing “Wake the Beast” and “Fluttering Dreams”! I haven’t touched FD in months, but I’ve been writing a sentence or two of WtB here and there. Every little bit counts, right?

I have not, unfortunately, been working on anything I actually want to write. Like “Wake the Beast” and “Fluttering Dreams.” So I’ve turned my useless attention to Christmas gifts. The earlier the start, the better the quality, right? I like writing short stories for my family members, so I’m doing a few as Christmas presents. Come next year, though, I’ll try to be better at regularly writing my novels!

I fell behind in “Wake the Beast”! Nooo! Hopefully I’ll catch up soon.

@Henvincible Not really. Maybe while I’m washing tables, chairs, cabinets, or table bases, but only the chairs take a lot of time. But thanks for validating my excuses XD I’ll be sure to write in bits and pieces. I don’t have to go anywhere or do anything today, so here’s my chance!

@bluedrop77 it sounds to me like you have a fair excuse not to have been working on it. Work and helping family both sound like worthwhile causes. Is any of your work mindless enough for you to do it adequately and brainstorm?

@Henvincible A mixture of life and writer’s block. I’ve been working more than usual, and my mom’s been using me as a taxi to take my siblings to different places, so a lot of my time is taken up there. When I’m not working or driving, I’m reading a book. It’s hard to find time to do other things, even though I definitely have it.
