[she drawls,   voice as velvety and cruel as her demeanor as she steps closer.   a beat,  her eyes flick to his fangs,   unimpressed]     on your knees,    off your knees——you boys are all the same. always offering,    never worth the bite..   you bite humans because you’re soft.  because you’re scared of what drinking one of us would do to you.   i am not.   so unless you’re begging to be split open like the last one——don’t taunt a predator with cravings worse than yours.
