            the thumbs up only deeps the shiroyasha's frown,  his only visible eye narrowing while his empty hand tugs his sandogasa lower.  "it's not the /place/ you should be scared of.  it's what /lives here/.  ...  there's a demon on this island,  you know.  one who kills anyone he crosses paths with."

            i have...  a shelter of sorts.  with a makeshift bed.  you can use it.

            good.  that was the kind of reaction he'd been hoping for.  his only visible eye glanced off to the side for a moment.  "just call me shiro...  i don't have a name."  the cursed man would utter.

            not on purpose.  not because i want to.  that's what the man thought to himself,  anyways.  but...  his goal was to scare people away.  "yes."

            the shiroyasha bit the inside of his bottom lip.  that was too harsh.  he hadn't meant to snap like that.  he wanted to apologize,  but he didn't.  all he did was stand there,  gazing away from the young boy.  "why?  do you want to know why?  sure,  i can tell you everything.  maybe then it'll make you want to stay away."  usually,  he never told anyone /why/.  but,  if this young man was so insistent on hanging around,  perhaps he had no choice. 

at that , the younger had to stop . he’d not expected a reaction like that , much less those /words/ . he didn’t understand . he’d never gotten to know this man after all ..   and yet , he’d spoken in this way .   ( was it in his place to say those things to him ? )   “   .. i’m sorry .    “   he’d eventually say .   “   it’s just that .. you never told me why .   “   why ? why was the man so dismissive towards him ? why was he so cold ?   .. why did he keep saying that he would kill him ?

            fingers twitched down at the shiroyasha's side before he lifted his hand.  he tugged away some of the bandages covering his mouth so his words would be louder and less muffled.  "you don't understand.  it's for your /own good/.  if you listen to /nothing else/ i say,  at least get this through your thick skull.  i do not want anything to happen to you.  that is why you will stay away from me.  after today,  you will never see me again.  understood?"
