detectivism

do you have a moment?

@vigilantactics ( ... ) it wouldn't be the first time, would it? [ the rhetorical question had left her mouth as, in fact, at least a few of the previous gcpd's cases had involved her patients. the charm of working in a place like this ] now that's t͟h͟e͟ title. how urgent is it?

more than enough. [ pushing the door open, he steps into her office, head tilting with a smile ] we have a new case regarding one of your patients and… i was thinking about appointing you as head detective?

@vigilantactics ( ... ) if twenty eight minutes counts as a moment, then yes.

uh - huh. i guess i'll just cut to the chase, because i'm running low on time. i used to see a certain psychiatrist here -- perhaps you can tell me if they still work here ?

@madhunts ( ... ) no, no.. well, kind of but it's not important anymore. don't worry about that, i'm all free now.

... fine. okay. whatever. * eyes narrow in stubborn irritation, & sevyn folds her arms across her chest, leaning back in the chair. it's the most uncomfortable chair she is convinced she has ever sat on— part of her wonders if there was no budget left for good chairs after arkham spent all their money on damage repair every few months. * maybe i need help. i dunno what could be wrong with me, though. maybe that's the problem?

@qamble ( ... ) if psychology is to be believed, many, if not all, people need it at some point. [ a shrug ] sometimes when something is wrong with you, you become more normal than people who cannot admit they aren't all that.. so, by saying ' i got nothin' wrong with me ' you want to show you're one of these people?

i don't /need/ to be. i got nothin' wrong with me. it's waste of your time, not just mine.
