I know no one’s gonna reply to this cause it’s not my main ( though that’s the whole point…)
          
          Sigh, anyway today I was FINALLY brave enough to scroll through the few last set of texts of my former friend and I, and don’t get me wrong, I’m chill with the outcome of their ( unspoken ) decision to drift apart, but the fact that one of their last claims was “I seriously don't mind. I don't want to lose you.”
          
          And then you proceeded to choose to lose me?!?! That’s when I quit scrolling. But like ugh it was such a hazard to scroll through it cause it’s freaking insta, one wrong stalking move, and they’ll prob notice I randomly decided to read the texts after a whole year when we clearly don’t talk anymore and then it’d look bad.
          
          Then the text below I dOn’T wAnT tO LoSe yOu was about how excited they were about my bday finally approaching. And guess what? Last year was the first time they didn’t even wish me because by then they decided to cut me off. It hit hard cause I was sooo spoiled from them always making a big deal over my bday EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
          
          I have so many mixed feelings over this cause on one hand, I wish them the very best and I hope they’re doing well, and I know they just wanted to start fresh, new journey in college. On the other hand, I’m always left wondering if they EVER give me a thought anymore, if they ever plan on reaching out, even if it’s years later, maybe after college or when I’m famous and they hear my song or smth ( actually I hope they don’t hear…the song *cough* about them )
          
          They’re not gonna reach out though. Idk how but they did some trick ( prob blocking for a few mins ) in which we unfollow each other, so that’s clear enough indication of “you’re in my past life, don’t text me.”
