          Kalbinde kuraklık baskın gelirken nasıl hissedebilirdi.
          
          Sonunda bir zehrin damarda sinsice yayılması gibi yayılan bu his, kalbiyle mücadeleye girdiğinde benliği en başından belli bir mağlubiyetin kurbanı oldu. Girdiği bu sınavda başarısız olmuştu. Bu yüzden o kadınla ilgili olan bütün her şeyi öldüğü yere gömmek istedi. Kalbinde çağlayan duyguları bile."
