Q: What do you call a can opener that doesn't work?

Polllardii

@fcCHRISTIAN - Ha, ha! I have a hands free one as my hands are weak due to arthritis. I spend all day throwing things (accidentally) around the kitchen! Ha, ha.

Ha Ha. The 'correct' answer is a can't opener but big nuisance works too :)

Thank you for reading the last but one chapter of my memoir. I really do appreciate it, Hope you are doing okay.

@fcCHRISTIAN - Nice talking with you on here.

@fcCHRISTIAN - I hope you find something interesting to do. I dreamt I had to go back to school for years! Now I dream about having to go to work. It's horrible! Ha, ha. Volunteering for Sunday School would be good.
Not sure about wisdom - I sometimes think the older I get the less I know! I suppose it is because the world is getting smaller and smaller and we are bombarded with too much information, perhaps! I am sensible (I think!) Ha, ha.

@Polllardii Just moved on from teaching; Still deep in the thick of the rat race unfortunately.

Although just the other day I had a dream about being back in the classroom funnily enough...

I don't know. Maybe I'll volunteer to help out with Sunday School or something as a happy medium.

As for redeeming qualities, I'm sure it comes with wisdom, no? :)

There is an actual book now of my memories, called A Child Of the 1950's which contains more of my memories, if you would like to read it. I still have a few more chapters to write. I need to get my skates on! Thank you for your support.

Hi there FC! I'm a storyboard/visual development artist and aspiring childrens illustrator and I've grown a liking to your stories! I would love to do full illustrations for them as I am in need of a story to build my portfolio. It will be free of charge and I would love to work closely with you to illustrate your stories. :)

kirwisan

Of course! I'll email you the stuff I've drawn up so far asap :)

haha I usually do storyboards for films! I really wanted to be a childrens book illustrator at some point growing up but I absolutely suck at writing. I really liked your "If Unicorns Could Talk" story though and I would love to draw for it. Is there possibly another way I could contact you too?

Thank you so much for reading Bed Story, my serious poem collection and some of my Emotional Connections book. It is much appreciated. Thank you for your comments and votes.
Must say I love your poems, they are a work of art! And very amusing. We need more fun in the world! And you supply it.

Polllardii

@fcCHRISTIAN - Thank you, they were all great fun to write and some were emotional, even to me the writer.

@Polllardii No worries. They are great stories.

My favorite story so far in Emotional Connections was 'The Black Widow'. When I started reading I hadn't actually looked at the title so I was genuinely surprised by the ending :)
