I'm Bree, your average, gangly, almost-thirteen year old. I've been writing for seven years now, my first story being a short story about a cat who experienced an adventure of a lifetime when he ventured out of his home. That was my first experience of being published; my school teacher published it in my classroom magazine. Ever since then, I've adored writing. 

Aside from writing, I am passionate about Harry Potter. Author J.K. Rowling is my first and foremost inspiration; I began reading the series with my mother when I was six. I still remember asking her what every other word meant. It was a great experience, and I'd gladly go through it again, even without my mother by my side, hugging me close at the "weally, weally scawy parts." 

J.K. Rowling, though an amazing author, is only one of my author crushes. I complete adore Meg Cabot, Kristin Cashore, and Veronica Roth. Though not as accomplished and acknowledged as the first, these three women are absolutely amazing authors who I find to be inspiring as well. 

Aside from reading and writing, I'm a pretty boring kid. My parents are Aussies, therefore, I am an Aussie as well, though I've never lived there. I like to draw too, though I'm not very good. I am a pianist, though again, I'm not very good. if someone were to ask me about what I thought my calling was right now, I would definitely reply with the English language. 

I have no siblings. Bless my heart. 

I am a gigantic perfectionist, and - let's face it - a grade-A nerd. A single error regarding commas or spelling or such will cause me to cringe.
