after the battle against thanos,
steve time-traveled to return
the six infinity stones. when he
arrived in 2012, he met an old
lady. she requested to read his
hand. steve was okay with that.
she read and read. she felt guilt
and grief, pain and sorrow coming
from that weathered hand. then
she said, "you can't live like this.
you need to learn to accept."
she turned him into a HARPY: a
half-bird, half-human creature.
he suddenly had talons for feet,
his legs and chest were covered
in russet brown feathers, and he
had a long fluffy tail, and eagle-like
wings. then the old lady -witch-
vanished.
after months of searching for
the witch so she could turn him
back, steve returned to 2023.
let's say his teammates were
kind of baffled by his birdlike
appearance.
