〝  does that mean i'm not getting them back anytime soon-? ＂

    ``    phone?  ``     she  asked  curiously,  finally returning to the visage of her redheaded self. Yuma tilts her head, hands holding the patches as she chews on them.  ``   i think you should just take yuma everywhere..   then yuma won't get scared.   ``   she decides with a nod, her expression quite pleased --  clearly thinking her idea was a practical one.

〝  and i appreciate you for that ＂ she voiced her praise as she continued to idly feed yuma.  it's a good thing she kept the stash of patches on her whenever she was out〝  i'll be sure to do that.  hm,  maybe getting you a phone would be a good idea.  that way,  i can message you easier in case something happened ＂

      It's head seems to dip a little further, a soft trill of sorts rippling from its throat. it's eyes dart to the patch in her hands, it's jaw popping as it opens wide to consume the patches.  ``     yummy...   --    yuma ... kept promise ... and was... hidden..   ``   it  spoke slowly, the more it ate the more it seemed to shrink from it's overbearing size.  ``       rin ...  tells  me  next  time --   before  she  goes,  okay?     ``

〝  should i really though? ＂ she asked before eventually deciding that she teased yuma enough for now and leaned slightly closer to the other.  then without warning,  she placed a small kiss on the curse's nose with a lopsided smile〝  there,  is that what you wanted? ＂

    ``     riiinn  !     ``   immediately  came the whine, her lips curling into a frown as eyebrows furrowed.   she tried to leak up again, clearly unhappy with the teasing.    ``   no  fair,  no  fair!  Rin  stretches  all the time --   leaning is not an issue!    ``  she  huffs, wriggling herself a little further up (not that it helped much).    ``   it's a surprise,  lean closer to yuma!    ``

despite the chill she felt at yuma's hands cupping her face,  rin still remaind relaxed as she listened to the other's happy chirps〝  hm?  why do you want me to do that? ＂ she asked feigning obliviousness,  deciding to play around with the curse for a bit by having her head properly rest back against the pillow〝  i might get a bad crick in my neck if i were to try leaning over some more ＂

〝  mhm,  cross my heart and all the stuff ＂ she said while doing the little 'x' motion over her heart to emphasize her promise.  a pat was later given to the redhead with a smug expression on features〝  see?  told you they'd be good!  and they're portable too,  which make for a good snack while on the go for you~  heh,  i know,  i'm such a genius,  aren't i? ＂

♥︎⃟        @souItheory    :       ``     but ... -   ``   yuma huffed,  eyebrows furrowing as rin continued to speak. she grumbles, but she doesn't try to argue.   ``   fine .. but only is rin puts all her love into it ..  ``   she  decided with a nod, bringing the embroidery of souls to her lips.  yuma's jaw unhinged, tearing at the flesh of her cheek as she swallows the pattern whole,  a crunch echoing as she closes her jaw once again.   She seemed more content this time - happier with a satiated hunger.   ``  ahh ~  I forgot how yummy rin's patches can be ..    `` 

〝  you 'eating freely' includes hurting actual people,  which is a no-go ＂ she said with folded arms over her chest〝  so long as i'm around you,  you're not allowed to eat human souls.  i promise these patches will be filling enough for you~  plus,  different souls must mean different flavors,  right?  doesn't that sound interesting to try? ＂
