          Leah put her head in her hands, crying softly and hearing the cars go by, as she sat on a bench, alongside busy New Jersey streets. "worthless..ugly..fat..i'll never be anything better.." she muttered these words to herself as she cried.

          Evan winced, watching blood emerge from the other boy's knees. He was almost tempted to do something, push him a little closer to wanting the help he should get to fix that up, but it didn't quite feel right. Ev dug through his bag for a moment, emerging with a few band-aids with crinkled wrappers clenched in his fist. "If you don't want one now, then maybe take some for later? Just in case, you know?"

          "Are you sure? Looks like you got scraped up pretty bad." He was distressed, but not to the level Evan would have thought he would be.

          "Shit - does it hurt very badly? I have bandages somewhere, but I don't know if that's enough."

          "Hey, it's okay, I've seen lots of people trip over that curb. Are you alright?"

alesha had been walking through a park , a small smile on her lips as she observed her surroundings . she spotted a boy who seemed to be a bit interesting and she casually walked over to him . she gave him a kind smile before she spoke , " hello , i’m alesha . " the girl brushed her brown hair back before she extended a hand to shake . she had a overall happy demeanor , she was happy , to her , her life seemed almost perfect . she had left her past behind and here she was , she was trying to make friends with anyone she thought would be a good friend , because she was tired of feeling alone .

          there was a sniffing noise coming from the old oak tree . in the crook of the branches , a chocolate brown haired boy sat , crying , as he took pictures with an old polaroid camera , hung around his neck . each picture he took only seemed to increase his misery . you wondered why he was up there . after all , it wasn't often you see a boy dressed like he had bought a whole thrift store sitting in a tree at ten pm .
