did u guys know that before the 1940s (when the pipette was invented) and up until the 1970s (when pipettes became widely available), scientists would use their mouths to pipette chemicals?

my one question to the tos fandom is: why do all of the fanfics have modern slang in them?? does this not take place in like. the 1600s-1800s typically??? it definitely is NOT modern????? hello????????? dhcjds
