Sometimes the reason your heart feels heavy isn’t because Allah has abandoned you, but because He is gently calling you back. We go through days where the dunya becomes loud, responsibilities, worries, people, expectations and slowly the heart becomes distracted. Not intentionally… just gradually. But Allah never turns away from the servant who turns back to Him, even if it happens after many mistakes or a long period of distance. The doors of tawbah were not created for perfect people; they were created for those who slip, regret, and return. Your sins do not remove you from being His servant, and your past does not cancel Allah’s mercy. Sometimes all it takes to begin again is one sincere moment with Allah: a quiet du’a, a tear in sujood, or a simple “Ya Allah, guide me back.” The path back to Allah is never closed. One step towards Him is enough for Him to open many doors for you. And sometimes the heaviness you feel is actually the beginning of your heart returning to Him.
