The burning urge to completely rewrite dame des morts and to make it the platonic yandere batfam fic with Genevieve as Bruce's biological daughter that it was originally intended to be.

fun fact: dame des morts was originally gonna be a platonic batfam fic in which 23 year old genevieve babin was the product of a one night stand between bruce wayne and  poetry writer ariette babin. ariette eventually flees gotham when she realizes she's pregnant and genevieve is raised in france. she returns to become the medical examiner and bruce kinda realizes that's his kid???? but she wants nothing to do with him or damian, much less dick, jason, tim or even duke or cass. genevieve  was supposed to have an even more solitary personality. she doesn't work well with others because of how blunt she is and comes across to other as rude. it was supposed to be platonic yan batfam going through the motions of trying to gain the familiar affection of genevieve, who wants nothing to do with them and even less with their vigilante counterparts. 
          
          (and yes, damian reacts very badly when he's first told because he has a biological sister?! and she was never raised like the wayne he is? injustice and must be rectified immediately. bruce was going to be extremely dejected by her rejection and seek out the other batfam members for help.)

okay no but genuinely thinking about the idea of batfam having a done with the entire world coroner who helps them on cases who literally has 0 interest in them (their civilian personalities and their vigilante ones) they're just so tired to even care that batman looms over them as they work but they second they get injured or say something vaguely concerning ("this is why i'm dead inside.", "this is thirteenth reason.", "I'm one inconvenience away from a mental breakdown", "do you know how much force it take to break someone's bones? because i do and it's a lot of force. not easy.") they all just go into overprotective mode. they all stalk them but it's just to protect them <3333. (i have this thought of dick just having his heart broken when he leaves flowers for them and they're like "bye." this is genuinely so absolutely funny.

that extremely awkward moment when you want to rename your oc but you know that if you do everyone's going to be so fucking confused

i have 5 current batfam x reader stories but i really want to write another one..... if i did.... would you be interested in it. im not sure about the plot yet but i do have an oc for it. (as always my dms are open for talks <3333)
