Every year at the end of English class, right before summer break is about to begin, my English teacher gives her final words to the class. She reminds us to read over the summer. I am seen in this moment, sitting in the back of the classroom, dozing off, and not giving much thought to what she is saying. I have now realized, many years later, the importance of reading. I have joined Watt pad as my first step to building my reading habits and finding my place in the vast realm of literature.
