Hello readers!
          
          If you did not know or did know, dogdays new life is still under the works! I did not give up on this project and I don’t expect to anytime soon. 
          
          To give an update: I’m near the final stretch, yippie! It should’ve been done during spring break, but i was busy . Sorry about that. 
          Also, if you were here during my other updates for this project, please ignore the word count I stated before or the page number, because it’s shorter than that. I wanna say the word count I’m working with now, but don’t wanna spoil, I suppose. But I don’t really want the rewritten chapter 1 to be longer than 10k, so I need to be strategic when writing lol. 
          Anyways, readers just know your patience isn’t for nothing! I promise you this chapter, and more if college doesn’t keep me away. So yeah! Monthly update!

As I’m working on dogday’s new life, a new thought appears . 
          
          Imagine this: Smiling critters x Pokémon x gambling (sorta) x chess (sorta) x magical abilities/ magical tools. 
          
          I’m gonna make a wip out of it after dogday’s new life rewrite chapter 1 is out. I’ll display characters sheets and magical abilities.

          Updates for dogday’s new life:
          
          I’ve decided to keep going. I’m not giving up on this project, however I cannot give a definitive date as to when a chapter would be published. 
          
          Last time I’ve posted an update, I was deeply overwhelmed: which is why I stated it might be discontinued. 
          
          I was overworking myself to the bone. I wasn’t giving myself a break and I began comparing rough drafts to finished work, hence the breakdown of quitting. 
          
          But now I’m back working, working at my own pace and (attempting) to not compare my drafts. 
          
          I can’t give a date as to when it would be done and, again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience that I have caused. 
          
          Thank you to the readers who have been understanding and patient with me for this long, it means a lot.

Quick update! 
          
          I did not give up on Dogday’s new life! I’m currently filtering out what I do and do not like within the revised chapter 1! 
          
          I’m so sorry that I haven’t been able to submit my work in an orderly manner. That’s on me! However, I’m still working on it! 
          
          I, unfortunately, cannot give a definitive date on when chapter one would be released. All I can say is wait and see . 
          
          Thank you to the ones who have been waiting, it means so much! I’m gonna continue to do my best to pump out this chapter, so I can revise the others.

          Again, I’m so sorey for the long wait! Its just the middle that needs more attention and work on. Everything else is pretty much done. After the middle of the story is finished, my beta reader will give the final verdict and the chapter will be published.
