I'm an English teacher, an author, and a fervent fan of fantasy and other forms of speculative fiction.

I see my writing as more than just a hobby, and I promise to deliver well-written stories with dynamic characters. I also don't write stories with teenagers as the protagonists (unless it is a fantasy story where the significance of age is different) so if you are looking for stories that are NOT based on teens and teen issues, I will give you that.

Likes: Paranormal TV shows, Harry Potter, thunderstorms at night, hiking, and stories with emotionally damaged characters that fight through their issues to make it in the world.

Dislikes: Consistently whiny or indecisive protagonists, "Reality" TV, most forms of news in the U.S., book snobs.

Pet peeves: People who judge others for being judgmental. People who don't proofread their published work and then get mad at someone who points typos or grammatical errors and come back with the argument that they just wrote it and pushed publish without re-reading...great, but if it shows that you didn't proof it and you're not going to deny it, don't get mad about it. So if you point out a flaw in my writing, I promise not to jump down your throat.

And I dislike pigs. The animal kind. They scare me. So do stepladders.
