hey everyone! if anyone even checks this haha, im not dead and im not gone. life has caught up to me and i feel like my aspirations are moving further and further from writing-- which does not in any capacity mean that i will give it up. and as much as i wish for a wordy explanation (excuse) to stuff in your faces, i will refrain and instead leave you with this: it's getting harder to write. for me, because long hours of academic writing, factual nonsense, one-dimensional research filled with evidence and too much logic has sort of infiltrated my creative mind (if i even had one lol). i will return someday, maybe very soon or a year later, but i will definitely return. mark my words!! ☝️☝️ i live by this, and i hope you will too, wherever you go after you close this app: "preach what you hold dear, practise what you know for sure, and present only the most profound face you have." have a good one! see you again 

i havent been reading much on this app recently, but i randomly feel the need to talk about some of my favourite authors (actual fiction HAHA) if you guys enjoy my style of writing and the tropes, a lot of my current writing style is based off of ann liang's! she only has a few books, all YA romance and one that is historical romance! i HIGHLYY recommend "I hope this doesn't find you" (the synopsis itself will really get you hooked) and i hope i can preach my obsession to influence at least one other person to give this amazing romance a try omg. i read a decent amount of YA romance and i think no one does it like Ann 

the entire story plan in relative detail has been completed for "if only, once again", just so you know that i havent been doing nothing and letting it rot! this plot is relatively unpredictable but with more logic and sensible flow and details that will carry forward all the way from the very first chapter to the last. this one is slightly shorter than "just for you", but i do think i enjoy this plot a little more than i like the current one; look forward to it!

just a random thought i had the other day: why does every single one of my stories have an arc or at least one chapter centering around family and parents?? HAHAHAHA
          
          SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ EACH STORY
          
          in "just for you", a big turning point was the revelation of y/n's father and her lost yet precious memories with him, who had protected her by facing his death. another major one was the confrontation and resolution of the radio silence from y/n's mother after she was hospitalised which is also contrasted by the "mother" in the fake world rui had created!
          
          in "if only, once again", a large factor the protagonist must confront is the attitudes of and her relationship with her parents, especially with the rewinding back in time giving her a new perspective  (which she did not have in the past) it also addresses the theme of regret!
          
          in "evermore saturnine", the protagonist experiences the loss of her mother. this major plot point is the medium with which i attempted to showcase what grief looks like for this protagonist specifically, and how it affects those who live on. this is a story that focuses heavily on emotions!
          
          for the last two i held back a lot in order to avoid totally spoiling or exposing some plans and directions of the story that i don't want to make very clear just yet!!
