working on one of my unpublished originals I decided to share a little sneak peak of it let me know if you guys are interested I may or may not be posting on wattpad.

SNEAK PEAK SNIPPET FROM CHAPTER 1

Now it was only Rowan and Emilia under the lights.
The room changed with that.
Not louder. Quieter.
Like everyone noticed at once that this had gotten interesting.
Rowan shifted her weight, studying Emilia in a way that felt direct without being rude.
“Are you always this confident?”
Emilia held her gaze.
“Should I pretend not to be?”
A few murmurs around the room.
Something flickered across Rowan’s face. Not annoyance. Surprise, maybe. Interest.
“Do you always answer a question with another question?”
Emilia let one shoulder lift in a small shrug.
“Isn’t that the assignment?”
Even Professor Vale looked faintly entertained at that.
Rowan kept looking at her.
A beat longer than necessary.
Then, quieter, almost like she hadn’t meant to say it out loud
“now im impressed.”
Vale lifted a hand immediately.
“Out.”
Laughter snapped through the room.
Rowan exhaled through her nose, calm as ever, and raised both hands in surrender.
“Worth it.”
That got an even bigger reaction.
She stepped off the stage, but not before her eyes flicked back to Emilia one last time. Quick. Curious. Enough to leave a mark.
