Hello wonderful human♡
Thank you for educating that writer who wrote a fanfic where jimin had DID and didnt write it very realistically....we feel very alone due to that writer spreading so much misinformation and spreading more stigma then there already was....a couple of us even feel fake due to how the writer represented DID in that fanfic....

@BTSLittleOne1 i mean the illness was changed from MPD to DID in 1994 so the "this fanfic was written a few years ago" excuse isnt really valid either :/ i was highly disappointed as i thought the writer would of done more research on how to write about the condition :/ and how to make it realistic for its readers :/

Before the author went back to the fanfic, it seemed like the story was based off of DID and more mental illnesses. So while I was reading this, I was also very setback on how this author (and maybe even other ppl) perceived systems/ppl with DID. I’ve seen it all before where the media perceives DID as a suicidal/homicidal being not in control of practically anything within themselves. This piece in particular really set me off because it’s like they are romanticizing it and obviously they had no correct information on DID AT ALL. But after looking back on this story, the author said it’s based off of a Kdrama and not DID how they wrote this like a few years ago. That doesn’t fully make sense to me to use those statements as excuses. I mean if anyone wrote a story with so much mental illness and serious real things, wouldn’t you think they’d change it or even delete it? Anyway, enough of the rants. I’m so sorry with the messages because I have no clue how to respond back on this app haha. I’m still trying to figure out how to respond in the messages but the app isn’t letting me do anything. Hope you understand! I’ll try harder haha
