          Half of these people were blatantly popular girls; it's just that their hairstyles aren't what's considered fashionable in the 2010s. 
          
          Like, nah, I'm going in on this. In the 2000s, Megan Fox's highlights in her school picture were an attribute, not a deterrent. Cameron Diaz had eighties hair in 1988, when that was how all the "hot girls" looked, and if I remember right, she was a cheerleader. Same for Amy Poehler.
