once again, forgot this app existed! realistically i’m just gonna post this and ghost, but sure it’ll be nice to look back on one day. i mean, i just read the last one of these little life updates i did and was very nostalgic. so, for the sake of 17 year old em and some future em who rediscovers this app, here’s life update number two! 
          
          i’m now 19, 20 at the end of this year which is just absolutely insane. time is a construct and apparently sporadic life updates on here are a constant. past me would be happy to know that she did get into university! english lit and history, just like she hoped. just got done with first year exams, which is such a relief. still into metal (the music, not the material - don’t quite know why i felt the need to clarify that the first time) and discovered some amazing bands. got most of the same friends too (though admittedly, one did turn out to be a dick - whoops). i’m getting into tarot, and collecting classic books (i say that when i literally have two but hoping to expand the collection). don’t write anymore but hoping to catch up on the whole ‘reading for fun’ thing now that exams are over. 
          
          that’s really all i can think of right now! probably be back in another two years. until then, bye!

so, it’s been a while. hi! i don’t know why i’m back here really, i don’t post anything and most fanfic i read is on ao3. but it felt weird to look back on this when i’m a completely different person now. for the most part. so, for the sake of nostalgia, here’s who i am now!
          
          my names em (obviously not my full name, but people only full name me if they’re strangers or mad at me), my pronouns are she/her. i’ll be 18 soon, which is just absolutely insane. i still love to read, classics or queer ya (mason deaver owns my heart). i’m applying to universities, hoping to study history and maybe english lit (a book nerd at heart). i identify as queer, which i see as basically an umbrella term for telling people i’m not straight without going into detail on my romantic life. i’m really into metal (the music, not the material ) and am still kind of an emo kid. i love halloween, hate christmas. my friends are the most important thing in my life, they’re fucking idiots but they’re mine. mental health is improving, still has its ups and downs but we vibe. oh, and i got a pet snake!
          
          that’s pretty much my life now. maybe i’ll come back here to shit post without my friends seeing (i say some odd things and i don’t need that judgement ), but i’m not sure yet. maybe i’ll see you soon!
