            *  yennefer eyed the wound with a mix of caution && only / mild / disgust at the bleeding && puckering flesh .  geralt ,  by nature of his profession ,  would always get into scraps .  it's something she had been drawn to the minute she'd sensed his magically altered form .  the wound ,  however ,  was an eye sore of the highest degree && she really did not want her witcher bleeding out .  she got out her supplies to best treat him ,  hands working quick to strip him of his armor && tunic && beginning to clean the wound .  *

            *  with her chaos ,  yennefer had felt the water heat to a comfortable point -  hand on the water to find what would be tolerable .  ciri preferred baths with bubbles && scents ,  akin to her royal heritage .  geralt ,  in his altered form ,  preferred an almost crushing heat to soothe his aching muscles .  she supposed jaskier would want temperatures less than scalding ,  lest she burned his delicate flesh .  she moved from the tubs edge && across the room to where the bard stood before gesturing to the water && privacy screen .  *

            jaskier didn’t dare sniff himself , knew highly well that his expression would cringe faster than anything else .  instead he attempted to detangle his hair only a little bit , though he missed his more stylish shorter hair— the longer hair was honestly just an added compliment to his features .  “ i wouldn’t get so confident about that if i were you .  though i suppose it’s more than tolerating at this point  ,  maybe even fondness .  ”

            *  boots were removed ,  hair was tied in a cord .  yennefer was beginning to grow comfortable around the bard ,  unfortunately .  she wouldn't look at him ,  moreso out of respect despite her opinion that she's seen his form more times than she could count in efforts to patch him up or otherwise save his life -  but it was different when he was conscious rather than a babbling mess .  *
            
            i believe you've just grown to like me ,  bard .  more than you would say aloud .  it's alright ,  of course .
