            such tales would be better suited for one who can still / be / here with us .  it was ,  is ,  a deeply lonely existence to live this long .  geralt would deny it ,  but you & cirilla are lights in his otherwise dark life .  i know it as his mind is plain to mine .
            
            *  yennefer continued her motions of touching jaskier ,  fingers ghosting upon his hair & jaw & the slivers of collarbone through his tunic .  it was oddly soothing ,  the same way it was soothing to braid cirilla's hair in elaborate ways .  *

            *  yennefer's skilled hands moved to create a poultice to spread across the girl's arm .  this seemed to be a routine for them both ,  quiet && true .  her hands were more delicate than geralt's attempts at healing ,  with what learned things she did know .  yennefer was nowhere near as adept as triss ,  but she made due .  *
            
            what did geralt have you doing this time ,  cirilla ?  it looks to be sharp ,  these gashes .
