          I wanted to apologise for not writing Matilda. To be completely honest, I don’t know when I’ll be able to return to it just yet. My hyperfixations have shifted, and right now writing Matilda feels more like a chore than something I enjoy and that’s not what I ever want my work to be.
          
          I am trying, and it may just take some time. I want to thank you so much for all the love, patience and support you’ve shown Matilda. It truly means more than I can say. I promise she will return, it’s just going to take a little while.
