Hey guys! I just wanted to post something up that was very close to home and something that I hope sparks your interest!
This year, I made a milestone in my life! I'm slowly coming out as bisexual! To those who may not understand what that is, it's when an individual can like both female and male individuals. Also, to clarify, that was bisexuality's definition in its most basic form! There are many interpretations on this orientation.
However today I just had an enlightening conversation with my friend. We just talked about sexuality and how diverse it is , and how labels are just a basis for people to understand one another and that it should not be a permanent definition of a person and their feelings. In the process, I delved into my sexuality and it was so interesting because I went over things I didn't even think I understood before this point! Liking both genders felt so restricting and terrifying because of all the pressures not just from my parents but also people saying that I'm constantly in denial. But when really I've already chosen and that's both and that it's possible to love two genders that are both so beautiful in their own ways. It was so interesting how there are so many sexual identities/orientations/preferences/etc. I feel so happy that there are so many different people here in the world! Ranging from hetro to gay to trans to bi to A to all the other identities that I could go on for forever!
Just love people for who they are and be curious and more curious about others, but also about yourself! :)
