Gaara were nearly breathless, gasping in and out for air, as if it were sacred. During an altercation during his kidnapping, it seemed he had fallen from the sky, the sand catching his fall, but the fear and panic still weighed on his chest. He had no idea where he were, seeming he were lost in an endless obsess of a forest he did not recognize. This were not home, nothing we’re recognizable. He were tired, weak from how much chakra he had used already. His senses were weakened, though he could still hear rustling in the bushes, as if someone were moving.. the energy to fight were no longer present.. he had done all he could possibly do, he had no choice but to surrender to the figure that were peeking out at him from behind a tree.. just waiting.. expecting the worst..

@firstdivision “I am sorry, I just-..” Even through the mental exhaustion were present, it seemed Gaara were putting two and two together. Supposedly, he weren’t dead, which he were thankful for, of course.. he could smell the dying forest around him, it seemed to burn his nostrils.. slowly pulling himself into a half sitting position, holding his weight up with his two hands, “Where am I? What is this place?”

[@LON3LYD3MON] His gaze flicked over the other , briefly catching on the outdated clothing before he dismissed it with a faint crease of curiosity in his brows. He met those pale eyes with a slight tilt of his head , expression more confused than concerned. “ Afterlife . . . ? What are you even talking about ? ” he asked , voice flat with mild disbelief as his eyes swept the surroundings , as if double-checking he hadn’t somehow missed dying. Still the same forest. “ . . . Are you okay ? ”

@firstdivision For a moment, the redhead almost assumed he were hallucinating, as the figure grew closer, and closer, until he were right in front of him, and now Gaara were able to see his features, a flawless face, fair skin, two different tones of hair color that still blended perfectly. He looked like an angel, especially with that look of care in his eyes.. and the strange weapon he were carrying.. never seen by Gaara’s eyes before. Whatever the other were saying to him, Gaara seemed not to understand what he were meaning, and slipped right by the warning, “This is the end? You are the angel to lead me to the afterlife?”
