Just published chapter 4 of my ONC entry, and that puts my current word count at exactly 8000, so it means I'm ready for the next round a whole month ahead of schedule. Much better than my usual approach of procrastinating and then panicking when the deadline starts to threaten.
          
          So how is everyone else getting on with their novellas?

Well, the first round of the ONC is now open, so I've submitted my story. But I'm feeling lucky, so hopefully it will do well.

So the ONC 2025 has finally started, and the writing prompts have been announced. There was a couple of interesting ones, but obviously I decided to pick something dumb to base my story on  :p

            Wattys are worth entering, tho I've found the ONC is a good one if you struggle with procrastination like me, as the set deadlines force you to focus.
