            — stole a motorcycle as a kid and landed himself in a jail cell, which led to his mom betraying his dad and getting his dad captured and jailed
            — gavin grew up in a strict household due to his intelligence — his mom wanted him on the right side of life
            — this resulted in gavin growing resentful and, with nothing left to do to get out of this stressful environment, ended up killing his mom and landing in jail just like his father
