I've not been on Wattpad much recently and I apologize for the unanswered messages. For those who are requesting editing, I'm no longer offering that service. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

@kateryderbooks I found that I was spending too much time on here, reading, editing, critiquing, getting involved in the community trying to get noticed, and not enough time on my own writing. So, I've cut back my time here dramatically.

Thank you so much for the compliment!! I do have a Twitter, @beckflds. I don't update there much, but I certainly will if anyone is interested. :)

Hey everyone! I've been thinking about this for a while and thought I should go ahead and just do it. Every week I'm going to post a writing tip. This will be geared toward those who want to improve their writing or pursue traditional publishing. I'm not saying I'm an expert, but if I don't know, I will find the correct answer. If you have any questions or agree or disagree with something, please feel free to comment. Cheers!

@fizzlebeck Haha, yeah, I'm in so deep right now with my books, edits, critiques, reviews, and every day life. If people like what I have to say, I could always put it in book form later, but for right now, a tip is all I can manage. Thanks for the suggestion though!! :)

@fizzlebeck Thank you!! I'm trying to make it interesting, though I have the feeling my first one might not be too popular. :)

thanks so much for the follow :)

My two cents: Just be yourself. Don't try and be someone who you're really not because then you'll come off as fake and phony... If you truly show who you are, there will definitely be people out there who would be happy to be your friend. :)

@SJMbooks4life Thank you, that's so sweet! Takes on to know one. :) I haven't been on wattpad long, and have found it to be kind of tough to get to know people, so I'm trying different ways.

Heya and thank you for adding The Bad Boy Mage to your reading list. Out of curiosity, what does a wildlife rehabilitator do?

fizzlebeck

@FireAlwaysReturns It is heartbreaking, but letting them go back to the wild is what's best for them. I would love to keep every single one, they all have distinct personalities, but their instinct always takes over. They're not meant to be pets. I have had injured babies come back to me and once they're well again, I give them the option of leaving. They always do. That instinct is too strong. I love each and every animal I take in, but it has to be about what's best for them, not me. Yeah, breaks my heart.

It must be horrible to have raised so many of them yet be forced to let them go out in the wild. I'd want to keep them, honestly.

@FireAlwaysReturns You're welcome! And I rehab injured or orphaned wildlife, usually small mammals like squirrels, rabbits, or opossums. Once they're old to care for themselves, they're released back into the wild. Normally, I get infants whose mother has died or been killed. I bottle feed and raise them until they're ready to be in their own. It's heartbreaking, but rewarding at the same time.
