EN | hey people. for every author I have asked permission to translate one or several of your novels, I just want to make clear that I have always try to be the kindness, so I apologized if you ever though that I was rude or similar. if you ever feel uncomfortable with me about being the one translating your work, let me know, and I will unpublished it.
I’m making this announcement because I’ve heard rumours about translators harassing the authors. I’ve never done such thing, and yes, I’ve have some rude encounters with some of them, but I’ve never being rude or disrespectful with them. Also, I just wanna say that just because you don’t want your book to been translated doesn’t mean that you have to be disrespectful, I get is your book and you have every right to say no, but you have no right to tell me that I’m doing plagiarism or that I’m stealing your work, if you just only take a second to see my translations, you would know that I GIVE ALWAYS the proper credits. I have NEVER taken someone’s work to make it passed it as mine.
And just to make it clear, if someone tell me no to translate his/her book, that’s totally okey, I’m not gonna get mad, or I’m not gonna steal your work. I do understand when a No is No.
