          I hope everyone is well! I just wanted to post a quick reminder that the updates for The Dating Deal have been paused for a bit. As I’d mentioned in my previous announcements, after falling sick in February, I haven’t been able to focus on writing much. Since I’d already finished writing till chapter 40, those chapters were updated as per schedule. 
          
          Right now, I’m working on the next batch of chapters, but it’s taking a while for me to do so. I know you all are eager for an update, but trust me, you don’t want to read what my muddled brain wrote while being on meds lmao. It was bad, but I’m mostly getting back into writing. 
          
          So sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll let you guys know once the updates are resumed as per the schedule again. Thank you so much for your patience. Hope you have a great weekend!

          According to Wattpad Originals latest policies, all completed seasons of a Wattpad Originals series will have 85% of chapters locked behind paywall. Since Season 1 of The Wellsfield University series, The Hookup Pact, is completed, 85% of its chapters are locked. 
          
          Those who have already unlocked chapters with coins will continue to have access to the unlocked chapters. You don’t have to use coins again for the story.

          Hi, hi! I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you so much for all the well wishes and kind words. I’m feeling much better now. Although I still have to rest for a few more days and have to take loads of medicines that make me woozy, thankfully, I didn’t have to get hospitalized. So that’s a win. 
          
          Like I’d mentioned in my previous post, the updates for The Dating Deal will be consistent till 7th of March. The Wattpad team has been very supportive during this whole time and has suggested putting the story on hiatus until I’m fully recovered. Since I’ll be spending most of my time home for the foreseeable future, I want to try writing the remaining chapters and avoid putting the story on hold. 
          
          I’m not a 100% sure I’ll be able to do it so I don’t want to make any promises, but I also want to be honest and tell you guys what’s going on behind the scenes. Anyways, the bottom line is I’m fine now and back at my desk writing.
