hiiii~ randomly decided to start the new year with a novelette about new year xD
          
          i know the holiday season is usually welcomed with fireworks but that's not the case for everyone. may mga nag-resign, nawalan ng career opportunity, may mga nag-pasko nang malamig, and more wahaha.
          
          "new year blues", this novelette, is my way of acknowledging, celebrating, and mourning everything that's happened the past year.
          
          . . .but this is also me staying hopeful for a more gentle 2026.
           #nybWP one's pretty bleak and angsty but I hope you love it all the same.

          ❝Have we met before?❞
          
          Days before Christmas, production manager Bianca Jane Aquino ends her relationship, while Eli Caleb Santiago, a feature writer, loses the girl he likes to someone else. The two cross paths at a New Year's Party. Amid participating in games and sipping pomegranate cocktails, Bianca and Eli bond over their tales of heartbreak. Sparks fly, but the evening soon draws to a close.
