ᚢᚦ// Hey! Hope this good <3

The dragonborn walked among the graves. A curious manner in his strut as he walked behind the tombstones, his claw tracing over the stones. A strange tradition he thought as he continued to explore.

Arðinn followed quietly. He found all of this quite odd. The creature in front of him, the mix of cultures and traditions that filled the field around them, the temple. It sparked a childish curiosity underneath the hardened scales that he tried to hide deeply.

He watched the other pull out the chair and prepare the tea, but for the moment he preferred to stand. He was not ready to rest his hind legs just yet. The dragimborn folded his arms and thought for a moment when he heard the question. He quietly appreciated the slower speech of the other. It did well for his mind that thought in a foreign tongue. "I... I am from far north. Past tall mountains. I have been making my way down South." He avoided eye contact when he spoke of the topic. One of his claws slowly, gently picking at his scaled arm. "Could say I had grown used to-... Uh, traveling. It is most of what I had been doing now." He spoke the words carefully, hoping e picked the correct ones to get his idea across.

" of course. you are in for a treat then. the flowers I use for tea is rather unique, so I'm told. " with a lazy smile, he led the way back to the centre of the graveyard to a rather unassuming temple. at least it looked like a temple until you see the inside that more so resembled a home. the frames filled with drying herbs hanged to dry and all sorts of tools and materials that seemed ritualistic in nature. and not one seemed to belong to the same culture or ritual either. he pulled out one of the wooden chairs before going over to the stone hearth where he gathered the worn kettle to be cleaned out and new herbs prepared and mixed before tied in a small bag for the fresh water.

" where uh- is it you come from, friend? seems to travel far isn't even noticed by you. " his way of speaking was more so slow. not stupid, but definitely seemed to take a moment to get the words right, leading to the constant uhms and ahs. a calm soul. as rare as they were, but one none the less.

He nodded along, hearing the other's words. He found it all very intriguing, being a worshiper of a version of death himself. Though his people's depiction was much different from what some of these people believed in. The thought that they saw death as an end of a path. Stranger than that is that it was the deity leading the souls, not the act of a funeral pyre. Some things that never crossed his mind. With every answer, more inquiries popped up in his head. But he decided to keep them for himself for now. He did not feel like sharing too much with a stranger he might not meet again.

He thought about the invitation for a moment before giving a quick nod. "I had only had tea once or twice before. I would not mind trying it again if you offer. As for the journey... The way you speak makes me think I was lucky. Either that, or I got better."
