/persephone is easily mistaken for a wood/flower nymph, so she often tries to make herself look otherwise. instead of keeping her natural long hair with flowers in it, she’ll cut it shorter. she tries to keep her aura more muted, and her powers more muted as well though being young, she struggles to keep them under control. this also often causes the mistake in the first place.

/just to clarify , my version of persephone is before she marries hades . she’s young, naive and trying to learn how to live life without her mother . she’s a bean that just wants to help everyone be happy but also wants to function on her own like an adult :’)

she moved towards the girl with a bow in her hand , one that was smaller than her own . where she had arrows tipped with gold , persephone had ones with dulled ends . “ i think i can teach you now , ” she said gently , though her voice had an underlying firmness — a maternal tone she often inadvertently used with those who were younger than her . not because she looked down upon them , but because she cared for them .
