Risky Decisions has such a sweet but emotionally tense vibe that makes it incredibly easy to get attached to the characters. Nico and Valen’s dynamic feels genuinely charming because underneath the fake-dating trope, there’s this deeper layer of comfort, protection, and long-suppressed feelings slowly surfacing. I especially liked how Valen isn’t written as just another stereotypical bad boy—he comes across playful, gentle, and emotionally attentive in ways that make the relationship feel believable.

The mix of romance, reputation drama, and healing from toxic relationships gives the story a really addictive emotional pull. It definitely feels like the kind of book that deserves a much bigger YA romance audience. ✨
