For anyone that missed this on TikTok,

I have decided to officially retire "Sweet as
          	Strawberries."

I sincerely apologize to everyone who was engaged with the story, but I simply have no motivation to continue with writing a long form fic at the present moment. I've personally noticed that the quality of each successive chapter declines, and I don't want to give you all half-assed chapters.

l've tried waiting for the motivation to reignite in that I put myself on break from writing, but even then, l've seldom felt the desire to go back to writing the story.

As the writer, I can only imagine your disappointment with me as the reader, assuming that you were following the series.
At the same time, as a college pre-med, my summer will be occupied with hospital volunteering, MCAT prep, and getting my CCMA license-yes, all of this, over these next few months. I know myself well enough to know that writing a long-form fic is not something I'd be willing to do considering how much time I need to invest over the summer for my future.

I may consider writing a long fic once I'm out of the summer rush period, but I will not promise that it will happen.

I endlessly appreciate your patience and grace with me, as well as your support for the fic while it was in session.

I love you all always, Flora.
