It may be hard to believe, but foxy may actually be a good guy in five nights at Freddy's. In the first game, when foxy is running down the hallway then jumpscares you, it's not particularly a jumpscare. It looks like he's just checking on you, making sure that you're okay. My theory is that when foxy enters in your room, his voice box malfunctions, causing him to make a loud scream, which makes you have a hard attack and die.
