/       *   the situation was over and done with within hours yesterday and was brought back today to victimize someone else that wasn’t the actual victim — AKA THE POC PETER PARKER. i could’ve said so many things in that comment section, but i knew that people with common sense would speak up. my friend was receiving backlash for having an asian peter parker and the person speaking with her called it ‘ colorwashing ’ which is NOT real. two people came for her account. one also believed reverse racism exists. i don’t know what y’all are smoking. this community is really disappointing and has opened my eyes that there are FAKE WOKE & IGNORANT people here. charlie deserved better than this. also, if you can’t understand that a message is a joke ( usually an edgy one but still a joke ), you’re extra soft. this is how everything got blown out of proportion because people look into things too seriously and misinterpreted the message and made the victim look like the monster. disgusting.

/     *  2020 and people have an issue with representation? having a character go from white to poc is perfectly HARMLESS, it doesn’t change the character’s personality or the deeds they do. people used to praise accounts that made a white character poc, it’s literally not damaging anything to the plot. it’s bringing representation to a community and adding depth to a character. i’m not saying we’re gonna make every white fictional character poc, but a little melanin never hurt anyone. if you have an issue with that, your argument is a lost cause because i know there are many others on here who would agree that the representation is needed and there isn’t any issue behind this. ESPECIALLY with a character that has no set ethnic background. this is childish and ignorant. as a person of color, i’m disappointed to hear that people, mostly those who are not poc, want to argue over representation and poc struggles.
