@Kyoko_da_queen and so the pulmonary vein is the only vein that taks oxygen rich blood cause that has to take blood from the alveoli to the heart
whenever blood reaches the alveoli the deoxygenatedbloods gets converted to oxygenated (gas exchange by haemoglobin)
@Kyoko_da_queen the veins carry deoxygenated blood from the various parts of the body to the heart except the pulmonary vein which is the only vein that carries oxygenated from the alveoli to the heart.
Basically the veins always carry blood to the heart but when the alveoli converts deoxygenated to oxygenated that needs to be carried to the heart but arteries (carry oxygenated blood) cannot do take it to heart cause it only carries blood from heart to other parts that is why the task is done by only pulmonary vein
