the softness across his face couldn’t be helped, but he was always so soft with her. it was almost instinct at this point. as if the walls his built over the long years wanted to be let down, but logan tended to be a stubborn man at times. his body tensed as his eyes slightly searched for scott, then flickered back to jean quickly.

@foreverburns ╱ the black coffee that touched his tastebuds wasn’t pleasant. but it brought back memories of the days when he was deep in canada. often finding the most far out towns to settle in for a week or two. their coffee always tasted like this, butter with a hint of burnt at the edge. logan didn’t want to admit, but the coffee was better then the shit beer in the fridge. “ oh really? “ he questioned with a slight teasing tone that he didn’t always share with others. head cocked to the side as he leaned against the counter, the mug in his curled fingers. “ decided to change it up a little, haven’t had coffee in a while. “ his eyes flickered to the fridge, then back to jean. “ even if the coffee is shit. “

@foreverburns ╱ a brow raised slightly, his gaze going to better look at himself. he looked like some lumberjack, the jeans, boots, and checker red and black. the sleeves curled up to his elbows. it only earned a slight chuckle, head shaking side to side softly. “ i suppose that’s not a compliment? “ he questioned slightly, brow still raised. the mutant would walk further into the kitchen, almost trying to find a reason to be there. luckily for him, he grabbed what was left of the coffee that was made earlier into a mug.
