Hey guys help me out here,am little sis finished her highschool and came to my house yesterday, she'll stay with me for a while.She had a fainting problem after we lost mom but midlast year she over came it.
She was diagnosed with depression after mom's death(12/3)19) got well but later on attempted suicide (thank God she didn't die)that was mid last year.The reason to her action is not none to date she never says it.
Honestly am afraid and I don't know how I will handle her anything I say or do may provoke her and I don't want that.Depression is real check your loves one from time to time
@CaptainSaint212 thank you captainSaint212 I appreciate that ,well she has a therapist and has been visiting her since she got diagnosed with depression she stopped when her episodes of fainting stops but when she attempted suicide she went back to her and honestly speaking my little sister never said anything to her but she doesn't wanna live anymore with no exact reason......I leave in a different city from home and if her episodes restart (I hope they don't)I don't who to ran to....am even thinking of looking for a therapist from here
@forthbeam5 depression is really hard. It's not like she is not thankful for whoever or whatever she have but it's just hard to say what you feel, coz it's mainly blank. It's so hard to express with words, you just feel empty. Be there for her. Empathize but not sympathize. Make her feel you are there to listen to her, no matter how ramdom the things she is saying by not judging her. I hope this helps.
